professional female voice actor and podcast host

hi, Iโ€™m stephanie!

ABOUT

From commercials to corporate narrations to kids apps to everything in between, I love what I do.  Every day in the booth brings something different and itโ€™s that variety that brings me joy!

how it started

MY JOURNEY FROM MUSICAL THEATRE TO VOICE ACTING

Iโ€™ve always loved performing and started at the age of 9.  My love of theatre carried me through my high school years at a performing arts school and into college where I graduated with a BFA in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College.  I hit the ground running and moved to NYC with hopes of starring in a Broadway show. But when the economic crash of 2009 stalled out my plans, I decided it was time to try something new.

Voice over was something Iโ€™d always been interested in but never had the time / funds / energy to explore.  But I was suddenly given that chance.  So I took my first voice over classโ€ฆ and (spoiler alert) I loved it!  I dove right into this new passion and was at the forefront of the home studio revolution, thanks to my amazing husband whoโ€™s a sound engineerโ€ฆ isnโ€™t that lucky?!

How itโ€™s going

Since then, Iโ€™ve recorded hundreds of voice over jobs for companies of all sizes and across genres.

Helping companies share their stories with the world is one of the things I love most about this business.

I have taken countless workshops and classes over the years with industry professionals from all over the world.  I love continuing to work on my craft and tweak my reads based on the latest trends.

During the pandemic, I discovered a passion for teaching voice over to beginners and have hosted several introductory workshops.

When Iโ€™m not in the booth I can be found baking, crocheting, doing a puzzle, or going on adventures with my 7 year old daughter.
