Preparation

Understanding the script, confirming direction, and any pronunciation

On my own or with you in a directed session from my home studio

Making sure the files I send are clean and ready to be used by your editor

If needed for script rewrites or tone changes

  • Rates depend on so many different factors in voice over including length of the script, usage, whether something will be used in paid advertising, and duration of usage.  All jobs are custom quoted.  

  • I typically take the above factors as well as your budget into consideration.  My job is to make this process easy so feel free to reach out so we can chat.  

  • I can send MP3, WAV, or AIFF files and typically deliver via WeTransfer, unless you have a specific preference.

  • Absolutely! I’ve been recording from home since I started my career 10 years ago and am used to wearing both the engineer hat and voice over hat in the booth. 

  • I love the collaboration of a live session and the ability to get feedback and direction right on the spot.  

  • I’ll make sure I get all the details from you about pace, tone, etc. and then record on my own and send you 3 takes so you have options to choose from. 

  • I want you to be totally satisfied with the recording so typically I include 1 round of retakes for minor script or tone changes.  But if more is needed, we can chat to work something out.  

  • I always send clean files with mistakes or talking during the session edited out.
